As the founder of the KOLCHORA brand, I bring to the forefront, a combination of passion, creativity, skill sets and a solid corporate background. My journey into fashion is deeply intertwined with the rich heritage of my family, stretching across generations. I inherited a profound tradition of fashion craftsmanship, a legacy that was handed down from my grandmother, an accomplished fashion designer, and further enriched by my mother's transition from the corporate world to the fashion industry. These remarkable women sparked the initial flames of my enduring passion for fashion design and the art of fabric sourcing.
My venture into the world of fashion commenced during my early teenage years in Nigeria, where I had the privilege of closely observing my mother's journey in the industry. As I advanced in my education at the university, I made a pivotal decision to embark on a deep dive into fashion training, seeking to elevate my skills beyond the foundation laid by my mother. Despite my professional corporate path, my unyielding ardor for fashion eventually led me to establish KOLCHORA.
My professional background is deeply rooted in the corporate sector, boasting of a remarkable 12-year tenure in the public sector as an Aviation Business Analyst. I am also a certified Scaled Agile Product Owner/Product Manager, equipped with the essential skills and knowledge required to build a successful business from ground up. My diverse array of experiences, past challenges, and invaluable learning opportunities have nurtured my resilience and determination, empowering me to elevate my passion and innovative ideas to new heights.
